Bothwell Land and Developments Ltd is proposing a new housing development to the east of Laighands Road Bothwell, delivering high-quality housing to meet the growing demand for housing locally within Bothwell. The site will provide high quality new homes in an accessible location which sits within walking distance of Bothwell town centre while retaining the semi-rural aesthetic of the local area.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to complete the street aesthetic of Laighlands Road. The requirement to meet the growing housing demand locally within Bothwell will be further furnished by creation of a new walkable and liveable street in the parts of the site which are safe from flood risk.

Our Proposal

The proposal is to erect 44 new houses including detached and semi-detached dwellings as well as flats together with access, landscaping, open space and associated works. The development is being designed intentionally to prioritise an attractive built environment for living and avoid cramming.

Following our pre-application consultation with South Lanarkshire Council, Bothwell Land and Developments Ltd lodged a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) that was registered on 7th July 2021.
